Almendra. Elemento: Agua
Sin importar el lugar ni la época, el ser humano ha intentado comprender el universo. La visión de los 5 elementos (Wu Xing) surgió en China hace más de 2.000 años y se convirtió en una de las bases de las artes marciales, la política, la medicina y la filosofía de un basto territorio. El creciente interés en el comercio y la medicina alternativa nos acercan cada vez más a estos conceptos lejanos en el tiempo y la distancia. A través de esta exposición intentamos acercarnos un poco más al extremo oriente, que ya está en nuestro día a día.
Agua, madera, fuego, tierra, metal son una metáfora del ciclo de la vida, las emociones, las estaciones y la luz. Cada uno representa un estado que se transforma en el siguiente.
Madera es cólera, primavera, verde, oeste...
Fuego es amor, verano, rojo, norte...
Tierra es reflexión, amarillo, centro...
Metal es tristeza, otoño, blanco, gris, este...
Agua es temor, invierno, oscuridad, sur...

Without concerning the place nor the time, the human being has tried to include/understand the universe. The vision of the 5 elements (Wu Xing) arose in China more ago than 2,000 years and it became one of the bases of the martial arts, the policy, the medicine and the philosophy of a coarse territory. The increasing interest in the commerce and the alternative medicine more and more approaches these distant concepts in the time and the distance to us. Through this exhibition we tried to approach us a little more the Far East, that already is in our day to day. Water, wood, fire, earth, metal are a metaphor of the cycle of the life, the emotions, the stations and the light. Each represents a state that is transformed into the following one.

Fire is love, summer, red, North…
Earth is reflection, yellow, center…
Metal is sadness, autumn, target, gray, East…
Water is fear, winter, the dark, South…
